Eat Cake

This is Sarah, Martha's great-niece. It is her first birthday. It is her first birthday cake. Sarah likes birthday cake. A lot. Two-fisted a lot. Cake eating manners will come later, when she's around eighteen or twenty-five. In the meantime, she plans on eating just like her great-uncle Charlie. (That's my bib, by the way, and I want it back for two-fisted spaghetti night.)

Sarah is a cutie, with or without cake eating manners!

...and I didn't picture you as a purple wearing man...

Ah, bless her, what a cute baby!

I've got a few pictures of my two that are similar. For some reason, they are reluctant to allow these photographs to be viewed when we have friends over. Go figure!

Our favorite bibs were the hard plastic numbers with food-catching trough at the bottom. Most of the time, we just scooped it out and shoveled it back into the kids' mouths. Waste not want not and all.

Is there any other way to eat cake?

Hope 2008 is better to you than 2007 :)
