Will the Real Imbecile Please Stand Up

Remember when I posted the video Is America a Country? that featured a woman who could not answer a third grade question? Most of you were shocked, appalled, or like me, downright embarrassed.

Well your friend and mine, Sarah, beats that blonde bimbo in spades. This video is a mash-up of the full (and lengthy) interviews available on YouTube, a nice little compilation of a woman who has absolutely no idea what she's talking about. I mean it's a sad day when she can't even tell Katie Couric what magazines she reads. If you have the time, watch the video twice to fully appreciate how stupid this woman is.

But wait, Sarah fans, because there's more to come!

Thass right, friends, she's "written" another book. Titled America by Heart : Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag, it will be published by Harper on November 23, 2010—a full six months from now. Here's the claptrap from Amazon.com:

Framed by her strong belief in the importance of family, faith, and patriotism, the book ranges widely over American history, culture, and current affairs, and reflects on the key values—both national and spiritual-that have been such a profound part of Governor Palin’s life and continue to inform her vision of America’s future. Written in her own refreshingly candid voice, AMERICA BY HEART will include selections from classic and contemporary readings that have moved her-from the nation’s founding documents to great speeches, sermons, letters, literature and poetry, biography, and even some of her favorite songs and movies. Here, too, are portraits of some of the extraordinary men and women she admires and who embody her deep love of country, her strong rootedness in faith, and her profound love and appreciation of family. She will also draw from personal experience to amplify these timely (and timeless) themes—themes that are sure to inspire her numerous fans and readers all across the country.

Alaskan walrus poop. All this from a woman who doesn't (or can't) read a magazine? There's no word yet on who actually wrote the book for her.

Charlie!! Watch it TWICE?!?!! I can't even bring myself to watch it once!

But you know, I hope the neo-cons put her out there as their front runner, we need another 4 years of Democratic rule to patch up the mess the Conservatives left.

OMG... I lasted about 40 seconds and then had to stop it. Does she not have ANY clue as to just how much of an idiot she actually is???? I totally understand the 'no comments on comments' thing... She leaves you gobsmacked...

A book? How can you write a book on your HAND?

She was out in the Chicago area this week. Some enterprising club owner, ah make that strip club owner, decided to have a look-a-like contest. The Chicago Tribune covered it. Check it out - sorta funny.

I think she's a bad joke. The one who has really flipped out is Glenn Beck. That guy needs mental help.

I can't bring myself to watch it. I have panic disorder and things like her idiocy really set it off. I trust that she is an idiot.

She's a sad representation of politicians, no matter which side of the border. But I will admit, it's more fun to laugh at yours! ;-)

Take care of yourself, ol'man xox

The Stepford Wives come to mind. From here in Australia Palin seems more machine than person, machine set to offer computer generated responses. Scary.

I just stopped by to check on you. Don't think I stomach any more of that woman. Heard her on NPR yesterday speaking on Pro-Life. She added, "You think a pitbull example was bad. You don't tangle with a Mama Grizzly Bear."

Sigh. That's all. Just....sigh.

Hope YOU have a great weekend!

I hope like hell she continues to represent the GOP. That's the sort of help the liberals need.

This woman is so scary, and apparently she has people with money pushing her on and duping the folks who don't know better. For me personally, I don't read things she says or supposedly says and I am not interested in hearing about her.

This one hits home for me. I started in a call center recently and I get tongue tied all the time. I don't blame the lady.....but I don't think she should run for president because it will be Bush all over again--on crack.

PS: the desire to sound knowledgeable when there are thousands of state matters is unstoppable for Palin. As a mother, I can see what her communication style is with the kids......and I don't think it flexes for government matters

It's not my place to make a comment - so I won't.

Pat: haha, that's right.

This isn't our place to comment Charlie, so we're letting you know we're not commenting.

Nope. No more commenting.

I'm not commenting, either.

That woman cracks me up. She's absolutely convinced she's running in 2012. She'll probably get three votes in the primaries.

Thanks for the laugh and the disgust!
