Monday Update

Wandering Coyote yet again!

I heard from Martha last night.  Charlie is on the mend, but the going is slow.  He is not happy in the nursing facility at all and he & Martha are referring to it at "a nut house."  He is very committed to getting better so he can get the hell out of there and go home.  Martha is hoping for Friday but there is no firm date for discharge.  After discharge, they are hoping to get a daily visit from a nurse so Charlie can have care at home.  He still does not have the strength to walk or use the laptop, hence my updating you once again.

That's about all for now.  Over and out.

Bless you WC. I was in the garden and thought of Charlie and said a little prayer. I don't think he would mind.

Thanks yet again W.C.

I'm relieved he's got the strength to hate the place.

Many, many thanks for the update. At least I now know the card I sent him has more chance of being seen by him :)

Thanks Coyote!

The cranky he seems, the farther along he is on the road to recovery. :) Hang in their Martha!

Hugs to both of you!

Is Nurse Ratchett on staff there at the nut house, Charlie? Keep yer dander up; it's good for you. But don't waste too much energy hating the place. You need it (the energy)to get yourself home.

Oh my, maybe Charlie would recuperate faster in the comfort of home. Thanks for the update.

Hope that he will be out of the nuthouse soon. I don't imagine it would be fun to be in a nursing home.

Well it all sounds like progress, albeit slowly. But that is a good thing, and a good prognosis. Having someone come in and help at home is much better than being in a facility.

I think about Charlie every day. Thanks for the updates, WC.

It's a step in the right direction, Charlie! Just keep getting stronger and soon you and Martha can put the nut house behind you.

Thanks muchly for the updates, WC.

Not surprised he's going doolally indoors, but hope he's progressing and hope to hear again soon. Wishing him well.

Can't imagine someone with Charlie's intelligence being able to handle a nursing home, on any level. Really hoping that something gets set up to allow him to be at home.

Yet another thanks, W.C. You're our lifeline.
