Annum Dramaticus

2011. It looks kinda dramatic, especially when you stand back two or three miles from your screen and take into consideration that I didn't have the faintest idea what I was doing when I designed it. Yay me.

Oh. I forgot.

Happy New Year to all my friends, foes, and followers!

* * * * *

I'm known for a lot of things (like designing a dramatic-looking 2011 when I hadn't the faintest idea what I was doing), but humility isn't one of them. With that in mind, I'm proud to receive the Rambling Beard Award for 2010 from my long-time friend Kim Ayres.

[Only kidding, Kim: I'm truly honored to receive your award. By the way, I finally have an address for my crypt so you can send along the "Sorry You're Dead" greeting card when the time comes. Address it to "Occupant" . . .]

Lovely news and welcome to Kim's exclusive club. I also have a rambling beard ( not really) in fact I had two but misplaced one of them. Lots of better health wishes for 2011.

Actually, it will say, "Are you sure you're dead?"
And I'll be expecting a reply...

OMG! "Sorry you're dead" card??? Hahahahaha! I'm so glad you still have such a good sense of humour, Charlie!! I love you, you silly man, and I've never met you. But I am always so excited when I see a post up. Very happy to hear you've got some good drugs happening. Being comfortable is the most important thing... as comfortable as you can be, anyway. Happy New Year to you and Martha, Charlie... Big warm hugs to you both. xoxo

It's always good to see something coming up here from the Professor. Never knowing what to expect always makes it exciting to see what's there. Good to see your post again! Hoping for more, expecting nothing means anything is Wonderful!

May 2011 be filled with peace, joy and hope for us all - no matter what life hands us. I know first hand the fickle fate of a life cut short. It doesn't mean the life was not well lived, well loved or fully missed. It just means life.
Blessings,
The Good Cook.

Happy New Year Charlie! And I'm going to insist that 2011 will be a good one - not least because we have another blog entry already, and drugs are giving you good days.
Arrrabest!

Yes, Yay you, Charlie. As long as there are days worth living, the struggle is worth it, right? We miss you. We are celebrating here in our little hippie house that you felt like designing the 2011 graphic and that you wrote a post. Hugs, friend.

Happy New Year Charlie........and and just when you think the end is near, he pulls you back to life. Enjoy each day to the fullest Charlie.

Charlie, I'm so that you've decided to blog now and again. That's really all I do anyway. Not that I can compare my humble babblings with your Rambling Beard Award-winning publications.
If I had an award, I'd give it to you. Ok, ok, I've got it. You are hereby recipient of the Not Just a Fay's Award It is much bigger and more prestigious than a Rambling Beard. (well, at least it comes with just as much love)
Good to see you here any time.

Ah Charlie, you're like the gift that keeps on giving...doesn't matter when you stick your head in the door, we're glad to see ya.

I'm doubly honored to be in such a worthy club as yourself and Map. However, Map is my designated drinker for celebratory things, so he'll have to raise a glass for both of us.

You are some kind of Photoshopping wizard evidently, not merely a rambling beard. I always thought a rambling beard was an overly talkative female date of a gay man. At least around these parts, it is.

Glad you are back making the blogosphere a better place!

I really do expect you to send periodic reports from the other side, Charlie. And I'll never believe you're dead unless you tell me so yourself. Even then, I won't be sure.

Are you kidding, Mrs. Zombie? I can't even get the shrink wrap off Photoshop. No, I did it with MS Word, saved it as a web page, then saved part of web page as a .png file and god knows what else. Oh yeah, there was lots of blood, which is right up your alley.

You realize, of course, that you're asking for a yappy ghost. Try getting some sleep with me yammering away . . .

Yay you; in more ways than one! Not only do you lovely website? But you are a survivor. For one reason or another; your still here; until it's time. Make a lovely time of it with what time you have left here!

Much love and warm wishes to you and yours; Charlie!
