Life
Life is precious. It is fragile. It is beautiful.
Life is to be protected from harm.
All life.
All life.
But tyrants don't care about life.
That is our job.
To care about life.
To protect it.
And to remember those who have lost it.
Otherwise, we are no better than the tyrant.
Otherwise, we are no better than the tyrant.
Remembering the innocent dead of Iraq, Afganistan, Libya, and the Allied troops who die trying to protect life.

As I started to read these, I wanted to click the "Like" button on the first two or three. But then I read the fourth and fifth and I realized I liked them ALL. So consider each of you liked for your wonderful and touching comments.
As I grieve for the people of Japan—especially the children and infants—I also grieve for the animals, both domesticated and not, the trees and gardens—all of what makes up Planet Earth.
