So sorry about the loss of your little Molly. It is hard to lose our furry friends.

Oh no!  I'm so sorry to hear this, Charlie!  This is very sad news indeed...

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, WC. Like you need sad news, right? It's just another fucking shitty part of life that we have to grieve and get over . . .

I am so sorry for your loss, sugar! It never gets any easier, does it? Much love to you and yours.

Sincere sympathy on your loss.  I know the kind of pain you're feeling.  Molly had a good, long life in a loving home and that's all any of us can hope for.

Aw. I'm so sorry, Charlie. It's so hard because they love you so unconditionally but just don't live near long enough. Big hugs to you and Martha. xoxoxo

No!  So, so sorry to read this Charlie!
It doesn't matter how old they are, or what a good life they had, or yadda yadda yadda, they still leave a massive hole in your life.
Comiserations x

Sorry doesn't even begin to cover it!

You know what made me feel better when we lost our buddy, Smokey?  A certain wise man named Charlie telling me about a rainbow bridge.  :)

Hug attached.

Molly was adorable and well loved. Nothing we type will make you miss her less, but I am feeling your pain.

I am so sorry to hear this year, Charlie.  There is little that is more heartbreaking than losing a pet.

Aww, Charlie...some things shouldn't have to be.   I'm sorry about Molly.  I'm sure she was a furry blessing, just like my little dog is for me.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Diane,  as I get back to working on comments.

Oh that's sad, but lovely link charlie. That's the thing about lovely animals they are around for such a very short time aren't they.

Thanks, Savannah. You're right, it never gets any easier. But we crawl on our way anyway . . .

Thanks, Cath. You're right that Molly had a good life, but putting her down, like Punk three years ago, is so goddam hard. She was always a quiet thing (except when the UPS guy came with treats); nevertheless, the silence around here for the past four days has gotten much louder.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Pam. I believe there's a conspiracy regarding pets' life spans, and I don't like it all. But I'll take all the big hugs I can get.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Linda. Losing two in three years is two too many. See what happens when you go away for a couple days and leave me by myself?

unknownmami said...

So sorry.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Mami.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Angie. I note your own cute critter—give him or her a hug for me.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Robert, and you are correct.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Kim, and hugs (manly ones) returned.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Macy. I have a suspicion you've been through this too. Lettuce hope that the hole in your life is not in your heart.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Map. I so want to believe that the Rainbow Bridge is a real place, and to hell with what the church says about it.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Hope. As I just told Map, I want the Rainbow Bridge to be real—it takes some (a lot) of fear out of what comes next after I die.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Stacy. The pain is starting to subside, but she will always have a place in my heart.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Barbara. You're right, as usual.

Charlie Callahan said...

Thanks, Philip. When I leave this world for the next, I'm stopping by the Bridge to pick up our pets. What a glorious day that would be, and it makes dying less scary.

Thanks, Trina. We miss her.
