Bohemian Rhapsody

What better way to start the week off than with a video of Queen and The Muppets? Well, a cookie or two would be nice . . .

[Lisleman at A Few Clowns Short of a Circus posted the all-Muppet version of the Rhapsody this morning. To Lisleman: Theft is the sincerest form of flattery. If you believe that, you're a clown.]

Now you've done it Charlie... some religious nut is going to speculate now that Cookie Monster is "gay"!

All my heroes in one video! :¬)

That's just mean...I can't look at that until lunchtime, because everybody in the vicinity of my cell, uh..I mean cubicle would hear it. I sure hope Cookie isn't in any more trouble; he's already being blamed for the epidemic of obesity in kids.

Well that hit the spot! Probably more than it should have.

SAVANNAH: Famed film critic that I am, I believe The Muppet Movie, the first one with Charles Durning, is one of the greatest comedies ever made. Jim Henson was a genius.

And you're welcome x3.

LISLEMAN: Don't be humble, man, you're a world-famous clown!

And you deserved the shout, you clown.

My wife often tells me, "Quit clowning around and go to sleep." I make a lousy clown.

ROBERT: Thou speaketh the truth. Since Dr. Dobson declared SpongeBob and Patrick gay, the Cookie Monster is probably not far behind.

MAP: Now how did I know that when I put it up? It must have been Destiny (whoever the hell she is).

LINDA: What is all this bashing of Cookie Monster? Kids are obese because of the ten million McDonald's ads on TV every day, other junk food and soda pop, and no exercise.

Do you play prarie dog in your cells/cubicles? That is, whenever there's a loud noise or argument all heads pop up to see what's going on?

BARB: I believe it depends upon which spot it hit.

Cookies. Yes. I think when my kids watched Muppets I enjoyed them as much or more than they did.

Ostrich is more like it, Charlie. When there's unusual activity in the hall, people usually shrink into their collars and become EXTREMELY BUSY with something on their desks. Those of us lucky enough to have doors close them, veeerrry quietly. The dividers are too high to peer over, anyway, unless you are a giraffe.

TECH: Like Bugs Bunny cartoons, a lot of the humor of The Muppets goes over kids' heads.

FAY: Is that a good speechless or a bad speechless?

BUZZARD: Thank you--I like to think of my blog as highbrow and written for the intelligentsia. You are a discerning buzzard.

PAT: The editing was quite good, wasn't it.

OSTRITCH: Way back when, I worked in short cubicles and we spent most of the day prarie dogging. Never got any work done, but we were government so it didn't matter.

So, did you like the video?

That is awesome! A perfect blend of two of the best things in the world - muppets and Bohemian Rhapsody.
