Uh, Forget Something?

That's why I have post-it notes everywhere! Ha!

PON: At least you know where the posties are--I always forget where we keep them, and by the time I find one, I forget what I needed it for.

You must have 10 million at work.

Charlie, I have several pads of post-its lying around on my desk at home. Don't use them at work unless I think of something I need to remember later. I'm a nurse so don't have a desk/office/space... I don't think the patients would appreciate post-its stuck to them. Although I have been known to stick a note on an IV pump to remind me when I have to turn on a medication. ;-)

I have been entering appointments into my cell phone calendar recently; an alarm goes off an hour before each appointment. I cannot tell you how MANY times that thing has saved my bacon where I have totally forgotten that appointment! I put my glasses on when I get up in the morning and NEVER take them off until I go to bed. If I have to put my keys anywhere other than my pocket, I walk clear in the other room to put them in the tray on my dresser... where I know I will find them.

I think there is a more prosaic reason for our forgetfullness... after all our years on this planet, our brains are simly "full".

I know this story well. Haha. This is a great video! Good find, Charlie. I hope you have a wonderful Easter.

I wish I didn't relate to that so well.

I know I have a comment, but I need to view the video again to remember what I had to say.

PAT: LOL! So who's remembering your memoirs for you?

SAVANNAH: If this is going to be your theme song, write the words down so you don't forget 'em.

PON: I don't know, sticking posties to patients' foreheads would probably assure them they're getting special attention from their nurse.

Then again, perhaps not.

ROBERT: You know how to use calendar and appts. on your cell? I'm both stunned and jealous.

Having to keep track of our "stuff" the way you do makes me think we're all touched with a bit of obsessive-compulsive disease.

And I KNOW what my brain is full of.

HOPE: "Because if I hear a crunchy sound, there's something I haven't done yet."

What a great line!

BABE: It appears that we're ALL members of the same club. Welcome, I think.

FAY: Please refer to the latter comment. So where are all the people who claim they have a mind like elephantitis?

PAPA: You're welcome to watch the video as much as you like. Why not get a copy for your own personal use?

Can't remember when I first saw that Tom Rush clip but he sure nails it. Glasses are my nemesis. I have to work with a day planner so I know what I'm supposed to be up to.

Sorta suspect the golden years are actually electroplated lead.

Story of my life too. If I can't find my keys, I look EVERYwhere. Like the refrigerator, even.

I was going to say something really clever...

I forgot what I wanted to say!
