My name is FAY CAMPBELL! and I thought that was a hoot.
Adds a whole new connotation to the phrase "Flying Scotsman"!
well that makes for a full day.
The best definition I ever heard for a kilt was, "an item of clothing worn by Scotsmen in America and by American's in Scotland"
I wonder how many cameraphones were pressed into action?
Wheels on old joke in bathchair:"What's worn under the kilt?""Nothing: it's all in working order!"Exits stage left.
LOL!Now I wonder where you found that post? I bet it was a bit chilly up on that ladder and its bloody cold in Scotland. Its funny what they will show on European TV compared to the US.
Thank you for that, feels good to laugh!
My godfather had a woman approach him once when he was wearing his regimental kilt, asking if it was true about what Scotsmen wore under their kilts. "Gie us yer hond," he said, "I'm a man o' few words". T.
p.s. I tried to talk my husband into wearing my clan tartan in a kilt once. He said I can bury him in one as long as I put a big sign on the coffin lid: "She Kilt Me".
